How We Protect Privacy & Consent

Sharing your story is personal. You stay in control of what you share, how it’s used, and whether your name is attached. We only publish stories with explicit permission.

Your sharing options

  • Public & Named: We can share your story with your name and approved details.

  • Public & Anonymized: We publish without your name and remove identifying details you flag.

  • Internal Learning Only: We keep your story private and use it only to inform our programs and education work.

What we will and won’t do

  • We will not publish your story without your permission.

  • We will not sell your story or your contact information.

  • We will not request or post medical records.

  • We may edit for clarity and privacy while keeping your meaning intact.

Privacy limits

If you choose anonymized sharing, we remove direct identifiers (name, contact info, locations, dates, and unique details when possible). However, complete anonymity can’t be guaranteed if a story includes highly specific experiences. If that’s a concern, choose Internal Learning Only.

Updates or removal

You may request an update or removal at any time by emailing stories@inclusivibe.org. We will respond to requests as quickly as possible, but copies may already exist if others shared or archived the content.

Medical disclaimer

Stories are shared for education, advocacy, and community connection. They are not medical advice and do not replace care from a qualified professional. If you are in immediate danger, call local emergency services.
