Dr. Linda Bluestein, MD

Dr. Linda Bluestein, MD, is an anesthesiologist, integrative pain medicine physician, and internationally recognized expert in Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS), hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD), and related conditions. A former ballet dancer, she is passionate about helping dancers and other performing artists optimize health, prevent injury, and sustain long, fulfilling careers while navigating hypermobility and complex chronic conditions. Through Hypermobility MD and Bendy Bodies, she provides education, advocacy, worldwide EduCoaching, and professional mentorship for patients, clinicians, and artists. She hosts the award-winning Bendy Bodies with the Hypermobility MD podcast and publishes The Bendy Bulletin, translating emerging research into practical, evidence-informed strategies. Dr. Bluestein lectures internationally, has authored peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on EDS, and serves in leadership roles with organizations dedicated to advancing research, education, and care for people living with hypermobility disorders.
