Debbie Hellenbrand

Debbie Hellenbrand is an internationally recognized patient advocate, speaker, and founder of Zebralife4us. Since 2015, she has been dedicated to raising awareness, building connections, and improving care for people living with chronic conditions and mental health challenges. She brings patients, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and society together, with the aim of breaking stigma, increasing understanding, and ensuring that no one feels alone.

Debbie has spoken nationally and internationally at conferences and events, including the World Orphan Drug Congress, World Congress on Rare Diseases, European Vascular Course, and events organized by The Ehlers-Danlos Society. She has also spoken for organizations including Amnesty International, universities, and healthcare organizations. In addition, she actively volunteers with veterans’ organizations and supports veterans and their families.
